Dimitra Petmeza is a writer/director from Athens, Greece. She has studied at the Hellenic Film and Television School Stavrakos and continues her film studies at the Hellenic Open University.  

Her Video Art, “Salome” (2019), received the Best Experimental Film Award at the Four River Film Festival in Karlovac,Croatia.

Her first film, “Air-Condition” (2023), premiered at the 54th Tampere Film Festival.

Her second film "The Quiet Weight of Things" (2025), will premiere at the 48th Drama international Film Festival.

In addition to directing, she has worked as a cinematographer and 1st assistant camera on various short and feature films. 

Dimitra is currently developing her next short film and her first feature.
